Enjoy A Little Holiday Cheer In Rock Hill/York County, SC
The light of the holiday
shines a little brighter in Rock Hill/York County, SC. See "Jerusalem
in Lights" a living portrayal of the Christmas story presented
by NarroWay Productions or visit Historic Brattonsville for the Christmas
Candlelight Tour. Or visit the newest Christmas event, ChristmasVille, which
will come alive as a charming, picturesque holiday village and outdoor
walking art show.
Begin your day at the Catawba Cultural Center with "Lunch with the
Catawba Indians". Your group will enjoy an authentic Native American meal,
drumming, dancing and storytelling. Tribal members will also share the culture
and celebrations of Native Americans during the holiday season. And after a visit
in the Catawba gift shop, where you can purchase Catawba pottery and other Native
American gifts, your group will head to the Malls for a little holiday shopping.
Shopping awaits at Manchester Village and The Galleria, shops include
Pier One, Ross, TJ Maxx, and Belk, just to mention a few. After a short respite
from shopping, your group will enjoy a dinner show at NarroWay Productions' new
indoor theater, "Jerusalem in Lights".
Day Two begins with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and then a
visit to ChristmasVille. You will not believe what awaits you
at ChristmasVille in downtown Rock Hill - a visit to Cultures
of the World, Old Town Holiday Art Market, gingerbread houses, Festival of Trees,
strolling entertainers, and a matinee "A Christmas Carol", just to
mention a few things.
After a fun day at ChristmasVille, your
group will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, and then travel to Historic
Brattonsville for the Christmas Candlelight Tour. During the Christmas
Candlelight
Tour, you will walk candlelit paths of this historic village and experience
Christmas in the Carolina backcountry. Over 80 costumed interpreters
will bring to life holiday traditions in the 18th and 19th centuries
through dramatic vignettes.
Day Three is breakfast at the hotel and depart for home. Or for the more artistic at heart, you can work with a local artist to create a Christmas Ball Wreath before departing for your next stop in South Carolina…Smiling
