Festival organizers have been busy bringing their imaginations to life through the creation of what we believe to be some pretty spectacular, memory-making moments at ChristmasVille 2024! With so many events, workshops, and community-coordinated activities taking place, we’re having to incorporate them onto the site periodically, so what you see is just a glimpse into all that we have in store for ChristmasVille 2024!

Each day in July, a new event, announcement, or application will be revealed—tickets and applications will only be available once advertised. Keep checking back for exciting updates and stay in the festive spirit with ChristmasVille all month long!

Festival of Trees

Historic Rock Hill 258 E White St, Rock Hill, United States

Experience the magic of the Festival of Trees at the historic White Home. This year's event brings to life the whimsical world of Vernon Grant with a vibrant and colorful theme. Visitors can expect to see a stunning array of beautifully decorated trees of varying sizes, along with wreaths, mantle decorations, and more. All items will be available for auction or for immediate purchase. The online auction will run from December 4th to December 7th, but you can visit the White Home in person to admire the decorations, learn more about Rock Hill, and choose your favorite pieces to bid on or buy outright. Proceeds from this event will help our nonprofit (Historic Rock Hill) continue to preserve and promote the collective history of Rock Hill. The event is a wonderful and fun way to express your creativity while supporting a great cause.

Santa’s ChristmasVille Classic – Glow in the Dark Disc Golf Tournament

Joy to the World: An Active Aging Expo

Historic Lowenstein Building 300 Technology Center Way, Rock Hill, SC

Join us at Lowenstein for a vibrant celebration of global traditions and active aging at the "Joy to the World Active Aging Expo"! This festive event showcases Christmas around the World, including Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and the heritage of the Catawba Indian Nation. Immerse yourself in a multicultural holiday celebration where you can dive into active learning demonstrations ranging from watercolor painting and line dancing to fitness and mindfulness sessions. Each vendor will transport you across the globe through the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of their unique cultures, creating a truly sensory experience. Embrace the spirit of the season and discover new traditions! We are committed to inclusion and accessibility for all attendees. Enjoy the convenience of QR codes with audio descriptions at each demonstration, assistance from a sign language interpreter, and a designated quiet zone for sensory comfort. Unleash your creativity during ChristmasVille's annual Gingerbread House Contest, where creativity flourishes, and everyone from the young to the young-at-heart can showcase their artistic skills. Exciting prizes await participants in various categories, and your entries will be a central attraction throughout the festival. Contest Entry Details: Registration Deadline: Complete registration and pay the $10 entry fee by December 1, 2024. Submission Instructions: All gingerbread houses must be dropped off at the Center for the Arts between 9am and 5pm on December 5th.
