City policy allows for dogs at City sponsored events on tightly controlled 3ft leashes; However, ChristmasVille strongly suggests leaving your furry friends at home.

We at ChristmasVille suggest leaving pets at home for their safety as well as everyone else's! Here's why:

• Crowds- during a festival with large crowds such as ChristmasVille, we don't want any paws or tails being stepped on!

• Noise- between loud music and the roar of the crowd, high noise levels may be frightening to your dog.

• Food- with so many different types of food being served at ChristmasVille, some of it is bound to end up on the ground. Not all human food is safe for our pets, and we don't want to risk your animal ingesting something they shouldn't. Trust us- they will thank you later!

• Anxiety- being in a new place with so many different smells and sounds, not to mention the hundreds of strangers, can be overwhelming for your pet. Spare them the anxiety and keep them at home!

If you choose to bring your pets to ChristmasVille, please note the following:

• Pets are NOT allowed at indoor events (Arts Council, Gift Market Tent, Santa's Workshop, etc.)

• Pet owners will be asked to leave before fireworks begin at 5pm on Sunday evening.

ChristmasVille is a 4 day festival located in historic Old Town Rock Hill, SC. The festival celebrates the Christmas season while showcasing artwork by Vernon Grant, Rock Hill native and creator of the Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies Snap!® Crackle!® Pop!® characters.

The ChristmasVille festival is always held over the first full weekend in December. Opening ceremonies are Thursday evening and the Grand Finale is on Sunday evening. ChristmasVille 2020 will be held from Thursday, December 3rd to Sunday, December 6th.

The ChristmasVille festival is held in Rock Hill, SC. Rock Hill is located near several major interstates and highways. Please see the Directions page on the ChristmasVille website for maps and travel information.

Parking for the festival is free. The City of Rock Hill has several municipal parking lots and a parking deck located on the edges of the festival area. Parking is limited however, so car-pooling is suggested. We also have a new FREE bus system! Visit www.myriderockhill.com for bus routes.

ChristmasVille has activities and events for all ages. From crafts and Santa Claus, to street performances, to parades, to holiday markets – ChristmasVille has it all!
