Come inside one of Santa’s favorite shopping spots and leave him a note at our official North Pole Mail Box. Kids of all ages are welcome to come in and write a letter or drop one off. We’ll make sure Santa gets it!

Join ROCK HILL MASONIC LODGE 111 A.F.M. for an open house/tour of their Free Mason building and grounds, which is usually closed to the public, and learn about the fraternities' impact on the city of Rock Hill and the surrounding areas. The lodge pre-dates the city of Rock Hill and has ties to the White Family and White Home next door.

Stop by the Arts Council's Center for the Arts for Rice Krispie Treats and cocoa as we celebrate renowned illustrator and creator of Kellogg’s® Snap!® Crackle!® Pop!®, Vernon Grant. Along with Grant’s favorite subject, Santa Claus, this year’s ChristmasVille exhibit features skiers, snowmen, and winter scenes that graced the covers of some of America’s most popular magazines of the times.

Deck the Hall is an outdoor sing-along with performances by local children’s groups and includes our mayor reading "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." This is held outside City Hall in the Old Town Amphitheater. Join us for this community event, where various groups will sing seasonal songs.

Overhead Station will be offering Bloody Mary samples as you shop your way through our store. Everyone is welcome, but ID's will be checked for Bloody Marys.

This will be a fun opportunity for a quick cocktail making tutorial for adults provided by The Craftsman Beverage. While the adults are learning about crafting cocktails, the JWL members will be leading children in creating a Christmas craft to take home. Register today. Limited to 25 sign-ups.

Hopkins Hall Doors Open at 4:30pm for this ChristmasVille favorite! Boxes of cookies are $10 each and bake sale items are priced individually. Proceeds will benefit Black Mountain Presbyterian Church's hurricane relief efforts and the FPC Youth Group.

The tradition of lighting the tree has looked different over the years as the tradition has grown and evolved with the times. Originally, a decorated Christmas tree in Main Building (now Tillman Hall) was lit to usher in the Christmas season. In 1935, the Christmas tree lighting was moved to the Southern magnolia tree on front campus, which was selected as the 2010 Heritage Tree by Trees SC for the great community spirit the tree evokes. In 1969 the annual tree lighting became an official event, and it continues as part of the City of Rock Hill’s ChristmasVille. Today, the flagpole at the fountain is now lit to celebrate the season to ensure the health and sustainability of the Southern Magnolia. This festive tradition will be held on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 at 6 p.m. on the Tillman Hall Front Lawn.

The City of Rock Hill Christmas parade is one of the few lighted nighttime parades within the state. The parade will once again feature both homemade and commercial floats, local high school bands mascots, walking units and of course Santa Claus, passing through the streets of Old Town during the ChristmasVille Festival. While the ChristmasVille Festival is excited to celebrate the Rock Hill Christmas Parade with our community, this event is not hosted by ChristmasVille. Join Girls on the Run for a Reindeer Themed 5K! Our season ending 5K is open to the public and everyone is invited. Our 5K is a FUN run (not timed) that runs through the streets of Rock Hill. Pre-party starts at 7AM and run begins at 8AM. 5K Fee is $40 ($20 for junior runners 12 and under). If registered by November 10th 5K shirt is guaranteed!

The Comporium Museum and the Comporium Pioneers welcome children of all ages to visit and make a phone call to the North Pole. Mrs. Claus will be there for photo opportunities and to help with making a call on the North Pole Hot Line.

Airing of the Quilts originated years ago and was an annual tradition in the late spring or fall. The women would bring out all the quilts and hang them on the clotheslines, drape on the porch or any place that they could be aired out and prepped for the cold winter months ahead. That old tradition as turned into many forms of the same concept but more for show and inspiration vs the utility of winter prep. Draping the pews of a church with quilts has been a new tradition in it's own right - whether for inspiration or memorial it is always a warm hearted feel to see all the quilts that have been pieced with love displayed in such a lovely backdrop as a church. SewEndipitous is lucky to partner with The Episcopal Church of Our Saviour on Caldwell Street.

During this drop-in style event, adults will use their creativity to decorate a unique ornament for their home. Visit us during ChristmasVille to add more flair to your tree. All materials provided. While supplies last. Adults, Ages 18+ This program aligns with YCL’s arts and creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand art history, styles, techniques, the ways to discuss art, and learning through creative expression, creative activities, visualization, and creative thinking.

A Classy Christmas Shindig will be held at the Patio of Player1Up on December 7th at 7pm featuring live music by Jason Poore. The event is for adults 21 and over. Tickets are $45.00 and include: 1 BBQ plate (BBQ Sandwich, Slaw, Fries, Sauces, Fried Pickles, Mozzarella Sticks, Drink of Choice) 1 cigar, 1 rum cocktail tasting A game card with credits for Player 1Up. Additional drinks will be available for purchase through Player1Up. Presented by McFadden's Men's Shop, Sleeping Giant Distillery, and Player 1Up.

Join us for festive fun at Main Street Children's Museum. Admission is free! Saturday 12/7 from 11AM - 4:30 PM Sunday 12/8 from 1 PM -4:30 PM When you wish upon a star, Main Street Children’s Museum is not too far. Help us decorate our tree, with wishes from both you and me. Will you wish upon a garden well? Wishes must be secret, never tell. Maybe your wish is to bake, hop in the house and make a cookie or cake. Maybe you wish to play with candy canes, or maybe to play with Santa’s trains. Don’t forget to find the stars, many colors hidden near and far. Make sure to write your Santa letter, when you’re wishing there’s no one better. No matter what kind of wish you do, we’ll do our best to make it true. Admission is free. This activity is intended for children six and under and their caregivers. All children must be accompanied by an adult and no adults are admitted to the museum without a child.

Journey to Bethlehem is a live nativity experience. This immersive event transforms our church grounds into the town of Bethlehem on the night of Jesus’ birth, complete with shops, villagers, live animals, and the symbolic manger scene.
