2022 Guidelines & Information
To be a ChristmasVille vendor, The City of Rock Hill requires that you obtain all applicable federal, state, and local licenses and permits, as well as a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the City of Rock Hill, ChristmasVille, and the Old Town Association as ADDITIONAL INSURED. These documents are not required to apply, but will be required prior to November 1, 2022. An electronic invoice will be emailed to you once you are accepted.
Other documents required include-

A City of Rock Hill Business License. The application can be found at www.cityofrockhill.com, or you can reach out to the business licensing office directly via email at businesslicense@cityofrockhill.com, or at 803-329-5590.

A State of South Carolina Retail Business License. This can be found at https://dor.sc.gov/tax/registration .

An FSE Grease Discharge Permit. This can be found at www.cityofrockhill.com/fog, or you can reach out to the GMP Official at 803-329-8703.

DHEC Inspection. Information regarding SCDHEC regulations can be found at SCDHEC.gov or by calling the Environmental Health Manager at 803-909-7373.

A photo of your truck/trailer as it is set up, menu items, and price points.

A completed Application

Any other applicable federal, state, and local permits and/or licenses required to operate in Rock Hill, SC.
Guidelines:

Vendors must post prices in a legible manner and in a visible place .

The sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited and will result in expulsion from the event.

The City of Rock Hill, ChristmasVille, and the Old Town Association will not be liable for any lost, stolen or misplaced merchandise or equipment at the event.

All food items must be stored properly, covered, and off the ground.

You are required to provide appropriate cleaning material as well as a hand washing station. Potable water is not provided at the event.

Do not pour ANYTHING in the storm drains. Do not get stains or grease of any kind on the pavers.

Take your trash with you. Improper trash disposal is grounds for exclusion from participation at future events and loss of participation fee.

If a vendor is rude or disrespectful to the public, staff, or other vendors, they will be removed from the event. The participation fee will not be refunded.

Space assignments will be determined by ChristmasVille Staff.

Vendors are required to be set up by 10:00 am on December 4. Market Hours are:

11:00 am—8:30pm December 2

10:00am—7:00pm December 3

Noon—5:00pm December 4

LEAVING BEFORE THE END OF THE EVENT OR STAYING OPEN AFTER THE EVENT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Vendors arriving after 10:00 on December 2 will not be allowed to participate.

No distribution, canvassing, flyers, nor vending of any kind may be done by strolling through the park.

If the event has to be cancelled for any reason, ChristmasVille Staff will notify vendors by 2:00 PM on the day prior to the event. Cancellation on your part within one week of the event will be considered a violation of this agreement and no refund will be issued.

Coca Cola is a sponsor of ChristmasVille. Any bottled/canned drinks sold must be Coca Cola products.

Deadline for applications is October 1.
A completed application does not guarantee participation. Vendors will be selected based on several criteria including menu items and originality. There are fewer than 16 spaces for this event, and we typically have 50+ applications. We try to set a line up that we feel will appeal best to our ChristmasVille patrons while trying to be as fair as possible to our vendors. Staff will limit the number of vendors selling similar items.
