As the festival chair of ChristmasVille, my love for our city, its bustling businesses, and the enchantment of our annual festival knows no bounds. While I cherish the ability of the festival to draw crowds downtown, I’ve noticed that not all of our brick-and-mortar businesses benefit equally from this influx of traffic. Additionally, as someone without children, I understand the desire to enjoy the festivities without being surrounded by kid-centric activities.
These reflections, combined with my theme of Wonderful, Whimsical Wishes, inspired the creation of ChristmasVille After Dark—nightly events starting after traditional festival hours, tailored for adults and showcasing our beloved local Old Town establishments. This innovative concept promises to whisk adults away into a world of whimsy and fun, free from the obligations of child-centered activities.
I am absolutely thrilled to join forces with our local businesses, creating unforgettable experiences that will leave our adult patrons and entrepreneurs “wishing” for ChristmasVille all year round!
