During this drop-in style event, adults will use their creativity to decorate a unique ornament for their home. Visit us during ChristmasVille to add more flair to your tree. All materials provided. While supplies last. Adults, Ages 18+ This program aligns with YCL’s arts and creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand art history, styles, techniques, the ways to discuss art, and learning through creative expression, creative activities, visualization, and creative thinking.

Chili Cookoff

Get ready to spice up your afternoon at the 2024 ChristmasVille Chili Cookoff! Join us on December 7th from 1 pm to 4 pm behind the ChristmasVille Beer Garden for a sizzling showdown as competitors battle it out for the title of 2024 ChristmasVille Chili Cookoff Champion. Best of all, your participation supports a great cause, as proceeds from the event will benefit The Children’s Attention Home. If you fancy yourself a chili connoisseur or just enjoy some friendly competition, register by November 30, 2024, to showcase your culinary skills and compete for the coveted trophy and bragging rights. For those who prefer to savor the flavors without the heat of the kitchen, there will be plenty of mouthwatering samples available for purchase at the event. A Classy Christmas Shindig will be held at the Patio of Player1Up on December 7th at 7pm featuring live music by Jason Poore. The event is for adults 21 and over. Tickets are $45.00 and include: 1 BBQ plate (BBQ Sandwich, Slaw, Fries, Sauces, Fried Pickles, Mozzarella Sticks, Drink of Choice) 1 cigar, 1 rum cocktail tasting A game card with credits for Player 1Up. The sights, sounds, and smells make ChristmasVille magical... for most! But for some, the usual holiday hustle and bustle can be overwhelming. Step into a serene holiday experience with Sensory Sensitive Santa, where we've crafted a peaceful atmosphere for those who may find the typical festive environment too much. Designed especially for individuals who feel anxious or overstimulated in crowded settings, this special event offers families the opportunity to visit Santa in a calm, private environment. Hosted indoors at Knowledge Perk, we've tailored the setting with softened lights, minimal music, and reduced foot traffic to create a soothing space. We’ve also included various sensory activities to keep your child engaged while waiting. This event is free, but registration is required. With limited appointments split between two groups, each family can enjoy quality time with Santa and capture cherished photos with their own camera. Each group accommodates up to six people, but with advance notice, adjustments can possibly be made to better suit your needs. (Email [email protected] for accommodation requests.)

Gnome for the Holidays

Main Street Children's Museum 133 East Main Street, Rock Hill, SC

Join us for festive fun at Main Street Children's Museum. Admission is free! Saturday 12/7 from 11AM - 4:30 PM Sunday 12/8 from 1 PM -4:30 PM When you wish upon a star, Main Street Children’s Museum is not too far. Help us decorate our tree, with wishes from both you and me. Will you wish upon a garden well? Wishes must be secret, never tell. Maybe your wish is to bake, hop in the house and make a cookie or cake. Maybe you wish to play with candy canes, or maybe to play with Santa’s trains. Don’t forget to find the stars, many colors hidden near and far. Make sure to write your Santa letter, when you’re wishing there’s no one better. No matter what kind of wish you do, we’ll do our best to make it true. Admission is free. This activity is intended for children six and under and their caregivers. All children must be accompanied by an adult and no adults are admitted to the museum without a child.
