Unleash your creativity during ChristmasVille’s annual Gingerbread House Contest, where creativity flourishes, and everyone from the young to the young-at-heart can showcase their artistic skills. Exciting prizes await participants in various categories, and your entries will be a central attraction throughout the festival.
Contest Entry Details:
- Registration Deadline: December 1, 2024.
- Submission Instructions: All gingerbread houses must be dropped off at the Center for the Arts between 9am and 5pm on December 5th.
Guidelines/Requirements:
- Display base of project must be 24”x24”; height of project should be no taller than 24”.
- All components are to be edible and non-perishable.
Prize Categories:
- Children (5-12 years): $50
- Teen (13-19 years): $75
- Adult Amateur (20+ years): $100
- Adult Professional (20+ years): $100
- People’s Choice: Specialty trophy
Gingerbread houses will be on display throughout the festival from 9am-5pm at The Center for the Arts. The anticipation for the winners will build up to the Festival’s Closing Ceremony on Sunday, December 8th, where the most imaginative entries will be celebrated. All items will need to be picked up at The Center for the Arts no later than Wednesday, December 11th during their business hours (9 AM – 5 PM). Any items not picked up by then will be disposed of at the discretion of ChristmasVille.
